Fedisa was established to cater for students wishing to follow a career in the international world of design and its many interrelated sectors. The College emphasises Design Business Management expertise, which is learned through a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design.

Other short courses include (among others): Basic Pattern Drafting for Individual Figures, Creating Denim Jeans, Technical Drawing for Fashion, Understanding Textiles, Advanced Conceptual Design for Fashion & Portfolio Presentation, The Business of Design & the Design of Business and Personal Styling & Image Management.

Fedisa is focused on empowering students with the ability to cope more successfully with the rigours of degree studies in a demanding design-education environment, while raising a highly focused awareness of the influences of driving design and consumption in the 21st Century.

Last, but not least, the College’s focus is on nurturing the students’ technical skills so as to develop a concept from idea phase through to 3-dimensional garment.
