Damelin was founded by Benjamin Damelin in 1943, and has since expanded to forty campuses spread across Southern Africa. Damelin offers Higher Education learning programmes (HE) that fall within Levels 5 – 8 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), and include degree and postgraduate programmes, as well as Higher Certificates and Diplomas.

The College also offers Further Education and Training, which consists of all learning and training programmes from levels 2 to 4 on the NQF, or the equivalent of Grades 10 – 12 in the school system. Damelin advertises 62 years experience in face-to-face tuition, with full-time, part-time classes, short programmes, evening programmes and Saturday mornings as well.
