The Cape Town Baptist Seminary was established in 1954 to prepare men and women for Christian ministry. Their vision is “to impact this generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through quality theological education.” Since its inception, the Seminary has graduated over 350 students, most of whom are currently working in Baptist churches worldwide, or in one or other form of Christian ministry. Students are drawn from Baptist churches in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and border Baptist Associations. They also come from other provinces, neighbouring African countries and even from the USA and Europe. In 2005 the Seminary registered 470 students at different levels, representing different cultures and denominations. For more information, visit Cape Town Baptist Seminary.
