Thekwini FET College campuses are at Springfield, Cato Manor, Centec, Melbourne, Umbilo and Asherville. The skills development needs of the greater eThekwini region - which the college is responding to - are in areas such as small, medium and large business enterprises, Electrical Engineering (light and heavy), Business Studies, Hospitality, as well as in Art and Design.

Thekwini FET has also developed distance education capacity and a Matric school. The fact that the college is located in the hub of the city plays to its advantage, as it is able to maintain excellent relationships with a number of industries.

Its Human Resources Development department keeps abreast of new developments and changes, and almost half of it 9 276 students (in 2007) were full-time learners.
