The Department of Energy is offering internships or Experiential Training Programmes to 100 successful candidates in a number of provinces countrywide. The monthly salary stiped will be R 3,850.00 per month. Placements are available in Gauteng (20) Mpumalanga (6) KwaZulu-Natal (15) Western Cape (12) North West (5) Free State (5) Limpopo (15) Eastern Cape (20) and Northern Cape (2).

The internship programme at the Western Cape Provincial Parliament (WCPP) will be based on a formalised and agreed programme of activities aimed at transferring certain skills to the intern. The intern will be mentored and coached, and will receive a certificate of Undergraduate Internship with the skills acquired upon conclusion of the six month period. There will be no legitimate expectation for further employment upon conclusion of the internship programme.
