The South African Human Rights Commision invites interested graduates to apply for various internship positions. Interns must demonstrate a commitment to human rights. |

| Commissioners | Degree, preferably a Masters in Social Science or Law. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, research and writing skills. One internship will be granted to a graduate with specialisation in the field of disability. | Cape Town and Gauteng only |

| Education and Training | LLB/Three-year qualification in Education/ Social Development/ Public Management/ International Relations | Nine provincial offices |
| Parliamentary and International Affairs | LLB/ LLM, preference will be given to LLM graduates who demonstrate a keen interest in international human rights law | Cape Town office only |
| Research, Documentation and Policy Analysis | LLB/ Three-year qualification in International Relations/ Social Development/ Economics (with research methods). | Gauteng office only |
| Library Services | Three-year qualification in Information/ Library Science | Gauteng office only |
| Media and Publications | Three-year qualification in Communications/ Journalism. | Gauteng office only |
| Promotion of Access to Information (PAIA) | LLB/ Four-year legal qualification. | Gauteng office only |

NB: Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, E-mail and the internet) is a general requirement in all serviec fields. Knowledge of local languages will be advantageous for provincial placements.
NOTE:
- A monthly salary of R4859 is payable throughout the duration of the internship (12 months).
