The current skills shortage in South Africa as well as the dire need for job creation has prompted Davis&Dean to develop an internship program which will prepare employed/unemployed graduates for an intern placement with companies in need of project management skills. The Internship Programme can benefit: • UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES who’s training will be sponsored (in full/partially) by an organisation seeking to place a project management intern. The full value of this sponsorship is R62,313.00 (includes a Laptop and software for the intern). • UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES who’s training will be sponsored (in full/partially) by a 3rd party in order to be placed by an organisation seeking to place a project management intern. The full value of this sponsorship is R62,313.00 (includes a Laptop and software for the intern). • UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES who will be willing to pay for their own training in order to be placed as a project management intern in an organisation. The cost towards this option is R52,313.00 and the intern will need his/her own Laptop and software). • EMPLOYED GRADUATES who’s training will be sponsored (in full/partially) by their present organisation to persue a career path to being a project manager. The cost towards this option is R52,313.00 and the intern will need his/her own Laptop and software). • EMPLOYED GRADUATES who will be willing to pay for their own training in order to pursue a career path as a project manager in their present organisation. The cost towards this option is R52,313.00 and the intern will need his/her own Laptop and software). The chosen candidates will undergo Skills Training in 8 phases. Only interns who have successfully completed the “Skills Training for Project Management Interns” preparation training will be available for placement as interns. Organisations registered as program sponsors will have the opportunity to select their candidate/s of choice.
