The Eastern Cape Department of Health is contributing towards skills development by providing opportunities to unemployed graduates to gain work experience in various skills areas. The Department is therefore inviting applications for the Internship Programme that runs for a period of twelve (12) months. The Internship Programme is aimed at enhancing the employability of unemployed graduates of South Africa. Interns will be based in Port Elizabeth and be paid a monthly stipend. Successful Interns will be expected to sign an Internship Agreement. Specified Fields Asset Management (R5000) 3-4 Year Degree/National Diploma in Supply Chain Management 12 months Finance (R5000) 3-4 Year Degree/National Diploma in Financial Management 12 months Food Service Manager (R5000) 2 3 Year National Diploma in Food Service Management 12 months HRM (R5000) 2-3 Year Degree/National Diploma in HRM 12 months Clinical Engineering (R5000) 1-3 Year Degree/National Diploma in Clinical Engineering 12 months Employee Assistance Programme (R5000) 1- 3 Year Degree in Psychology 12 months Performance Management (R5000) 2-3 Year Degree in PublicAdministration or National Diploma in Public Management 12 months Training and Development (R5000) 2-3 Year National Diploma in Training Management 12 months Minimum requirements: *Applicants must be South African citizens*Unemployed graduates in any one of the fields specified *No previous particpation in Internship Programme Applications: Available at: www.ecdoh.co.za or alternatively can be collected from the Department of Health.
